•	BSc or MSc in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering<br />
•	Registered Engineer Eligible for APEGM registration<br />
•	Computer fluent with MS Office and engineering design software<br />
Work Experience and Qualifications:<br />
•	10 years of transmission line design experience at 138 kV and above. Transmission line civil and structural design and foundation design experience with a consultant or electrical utility. Construction supervision experience would be considered an asset.<br />
•	Self-starter able to work independently with minimal supervision<br />
•	Basic knowledge of electrical design requirements<br />
•	Experience with PLS-CADD and related software for transmission line design<br />
•	Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop details required for Environmental Review Board Applications for Transmission Projects<br />
•	Familiar with codes/standards of CSA, NESC, ANSI and ASCE relating to transmission line design. Knowledge of IEC standards and CIGRE guidelines would be an asset<br />
•	Experience on projects for international lending agencies such as World Bank IBRD and ADB would be an asset<br />
•	Willingness to travel internationally<br />
Position Responsibilities:<br />
•	Preparation of proposals including development of methodology, staffing requirements and labor and expense cost estimates<br />
•	Transmission line feasibility studies including preliminary route selection, preliminary environment loadings, feasibility level estimates, recommendation of conductors and structure types, conceptual design criteria<br />
•	Detailed route selection, working with environmental and geotechnical associates<br />
•	Research of environmental conditions and selection of environment loadings,<br />
•	Line design optimization including structures, conductors and hardware<br />
•	Detailed design of transmission line structures and foundations<br />
•	Preparation of design reports and drawings<br />
•	Preparation of specifications and contract documents including contracts with sub-consultants for QA and QC activities<br />
•	Supervision of intermediate and junior staff on projects<br />
•	Project planning and control of staff hours and project budgets using a recognized project management package such as Microsoft Project.<br />
•	Provide guidance, advice and mentorship to less senior engineers on their project work </p>

 Mechanical Engineer with their Texas PE for our Dallas, Texas office. Within this key position, we are looking for someone to perform reconstruction of vehicle collision accidents, including commercial vehicles. Prepare oral and written reports that document observations, analysis, and conclusions. Other duties include gathering photographic evidence, conducting investigations to document onsite conditions and overseeing laboratory testing by third parties. You will also perform engineering evaluations of failed consumer and industrial products, analysis of equipment and machinery design, and evaluations of industrial safety and accident and deliver expert witness testimony in deposition and trial. ACTAR certification a plus. P.E. license REQUIRED. BSME and 10+ years experience in design or testing in the automotive industry preferred.</p>

<p>o	Ability to perform short circuit analysis using a calculator, pencil, and paper.<br />
o	Ability to compute real and reactive power flow, from analysis of voltage and current phasors.<br />
o	Ability to perform other basic calculations (voltage drop, current flow, losses, loading, capacitor studies, etc) both by hand and with the use of related software.<br />
Have the ability to take ownership of projects and follow them through with minimal supervision.<br />
Be well organized and have the ability to handle multiple concurrent dissimilar projects (i.e. ability to wear many different hats).<br />

ATO (Automatic ThrowOver) familiarization and planning of future installations.<br />
